We could pick you up at any destination within Nicaragua and drive you to León City, from there we will drive for one hour to Cerro Negro Volcano, 45 minutes walk to the top, and after the instructions from our tour guide, then you will board down this active volcano. What is included: protection equipment, water, fruits, entrance fees and tour guide, kids from 2 years old are able to do this activity.
What to bring/wear: shorts, t-shirt , good pair of shoes, bottle of water, camera.

Considered the symbol volcano in Nicaragua, for its perfect shape, this is a very tough hike, it's required to have hiking experience. from León, we will leave at 4am, drive for 1 hour to the base of Momotombo where we will start the walk just before sunrise, about 3 to 4 hours up and 2 to 3 down. we could also camp the night before if you prefer spending the night on the shoulders of an active volcano.
What to bring/wear: Good hiking boots, good trousers, bag pack, head torch, pack your lunch and fruits, and if you want to camp, enough food, swimming clothes to dive-in a crater lagoon near by at the end of the long walk.

We will leave León at 2pm, one hour drive, 45 minutes walk to the top, enjoy the sunset views, walk to the crater edge to see if we are lucky and may see lava in it, then walk back to our transport. Or spend the night camping.
